Gionee launches mobile phones in India

Chinese mobile handset maker Gionee has launched four smartphone models and three feature phones in Chandigarh city in India, reports The Financial Express. Gionee operates its overseas business through Syntech Technology. Syntech Technology director Arvind Vohra said that after Chandigarh, these mobiles would be launched in other cities in western, eastern and southern zones of India. The Gpad-G1 Android phone features an 8-megapixel camera, 5-inch touch display, dual-core processor and dual-Sim support. As an inaugural offer, the mobile phone was being offered at INR 10,999, with a free 8 GB memory card and flip cover.
