Iusacell brings Motorola Motoroi Android handset to Mexico

Mobile operator Iusacell has exclusively launched the Motorola Motoroi smartphone in Mexico. The device is powered by Android version 2.0. Users can develop Android applications and make them available through Android market, and can download them on Motoroi. The phone supports Wi-Fi and has a full touch screen with a 3.7 inch, HD WVGA display and the display uses a combination of Motorola's touch user interface and a capacitive touch sensor for screen flipping and scrolling. The phone delivers mobile versions of Google's Google maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk. The phone provides storage up to 8GB and Micro SD support up to 32GB. Iusacell offers the Motoroi smartphone for a starting price of MXN 999, in combination with its Elite Personal 1000 tariff plan. The Elite Personal package includes 1,000 minutes for on-net voice calls, 750 minutes for national calls, 50 SMS and 1 GB for mobile internet access.
