Jasper Wireless changes name to Jasper Technologies

Monday 5 May 2014 | 09:25 CET | News

Jasper Wireless, the pioneer in cloud-based platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT), changed its name to Jasper Technologies. The change is meant to more accurately represents the scope of the company's product offerings. It also reflects Jasper's focus on cloud-based technologies and on scaling to meet surging demand from global enterprises and mobile operators for its IoT platform.

Jasper's renaming comes on the heels of securing USD 50 million in new capital earlier this month, which marked a new growth phase for the company. In alignment with this growth and name change, Jasper has a new logo and website, www.jasper.com.

At present, the Jasper Platform powers the IoT initiatives of more than 1,000 companies across dozens of industries worldwide. Millions of connected devices are deployed through Jasper's partnerships with 19 mobile operator groups representing more than 100 network affiliates across the world.
