Mobistar starts selling mini laptops

Belgian mobile operator Mobistar has started selling mini laptops with its data services. The cheapest available is the Asus Eee PC 701SD with Linux for EUR 199. The Asus device is available for EUR 30 per month on a 12-month contract with USB modem and the Internet Everywhere subscription, excluding data costs of EUR 1 per day. Customers can also get the HP2133 with Windows XP for EUR 449 and similar data plans. Interest-free financing for the laptops is also available.
