Payvia announces acquisition of Mogreet

Provider of direct carrier billed mobile payments, payvia has announced its strategic acquisition of mobile video and rich media messaging engagement services provider, Mogreet. The full Mogreet team will join payvia, with Mogreet founder and CEO James Citron serving a payvia's chief marketing officer. Benefits of the acquisition include: faster message throughput and up to two times faster mobile video quality, international reach, cloud-based video and rich messaging technology integrated into payvia's mobile payments platform and the Mogreet API will become a core component of the payvia payments API. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed.
