Rostech acquires stake at Yota Devices

Russian state corporation Rostech has acquired a 25 percent stake in the company Yota Devices, reports Vedomosti. Rostech has used an option it held as the former owner of the operator Yota. Yota Devices plans to start sales of its new YotaPhone smartphone in the UK this week and in the Far East in April. The company has also opened its regional branch in China, and plans to launch the new version of the smartphone for the Eastern Asia market at the end of the year. The next generation YotaPhone device is planned to be launched at the end of the year, too.
