Telenor Connexion has entered into new agreements with Jasper Wireless and Asavie Technologies to improve its M2M offering. Telenor Connexion has chosen the cloud-based Jasper Platform, designed for enterprises making the transition to connected businesses, to enrich its existing portfolio of connected products, to gain flexibility and to support its technology agnostic approach. Jasper enables enterprises to implement connected services that bridge the gap between enterprise and their customers, and leverage assets of connectivity to every device worldwide.
To date, over 2,500 enterprises have standardised on the Jasper platform across fifteen mobile operator groups worldwide. Telenor Connexion joins a growing list of other Jasper operator partners including AT&T, America Movil, NTT Docomo, Telefonica, VimpelCom, KPN, SingTel, Etisalat, Telstra, Rogers, CSL and more.
Telenor Connexion will also use Asavie Technologies' M2M Connect platform to complement its M2M service offering. M2M Connect is a smart SDN (Software Defined Network) platform that enables mobile carriers to roll out new service offerings rapidly, reliably and securely. With M2M Connect, M2M deployments can be activated in hours even where complex, bi-directional routing or firewalling are demanded.
