TIM Brasil, Vivo announce prices of Phone 5 in Brazil

TIM Brasil has announced that it has started taking advance orders for the iPhone 5 in its virtual store. Only the 32 GB model will be available, in limited quantity and unlocked, for BRL 2,699. At the same time, Telefonica Brasil/Vivo has announced it will sell the smartphone in post-paid plans, starting from BRL 1,449. The operator also gave the price of the other models: the iPhone 5 with 16 GB will be priced at BRL 2,399, while the 64 GB model will cost BRL 2,999. The prices in the virtual store will be same as in the physical stores of the operators, which will start selling the iPhone 5 on 14 December. On the website, customers can pay for their devices in up to ten monthly instalments. Other operators have yet to announce the prices of the iPhone 5.
