Tuenti Movil to use Tweakker API platform

Thursday 27 March 2014 | 15:31 CET | News
Spanish social network Tuenti, which is increasingly moving into mobile services through its Tuenti Movil MVNO, has announced a strategic partnership with mobile connectivity firm Tweakker to ensure instant online connection for Tuenti's customers all over the world. Under the terms of the agreement, Tuenti's mobile customers will have access to Tweakker's application programming interface (API) and will automatically receive handset settings from power-up if their devices support over-the-air (OTA) configuration. The deal allows Tuenti to continue targeting world markets, substantially reducing the number of calls into its customer care centres on connectivity issues.
