DT to add zero-rated streaming to new mobile plans - report
Deutsche Telekom is planning to launch new mobile plans including zero-rated streaming, similar to its US subsidiary, according to a report from the site Mobilfunk-talk.de. The company will unveil the new plans at a press conference on 19 April. 

Subscribers will be offered three streaming options: StreamON Music will be free with MagentaMobil M plans, StreamON Music & Video will be included with Magenta Mobil L and L Plus plans, and StreamON Music & Video Max is included with the MagentaEins fixed-mobile plans on the M, L and L Plus options. The latter comes with HD quality video. 

The new offer follows recent increases in data allowances on DT's mobile plans as well as the launch of new plans by rival Vodafone with bigger allowances and data rollover. 

DT is also introducing a new plan from 04 April for students and young people, called MagentaMobil XS Friends. For EUR 24.95 per month, they receive 1 GB at the top LTE speeds as well as unlimited calls and SMS. The bundle can also be used for EU roaming at no extra charge and for mobile hotspot use.

Deutsche Telekom has confirmed plans to offer its mobile customers free music and video streaming. With the new StreamOn option, MagentaMobil customers get zero-rated data on the M plan for music and on the L, L Plus, L Premium and L Premium plus plans for music and video from 19 April. Vodafone Germany starts data rollover on new postpaid plans

Vodafone Germany is refreshing its postpaid plans, adding more data and allowing customers to roll over unused data to the next month. The five new Red plans come with 2 to 25 GB per month at the top LTE speed and also include Wi-Fi calling at no extra cost. DT offers extra data on prepaid Magenta plans

Deutsche Telekom is running a new offer on its prepaid Mogenta Mobil Start plans. Customers receive extra data the first month, of 1.5, 10 or 15 GB with respectively the S, M or L plans. The Start bundles are valid for four weeks and include unlimited on-net calls and SMS and LTE data speeds. The offer is valid until 23 April.

Telekom Deutschland doubles data volumes for DataComfort

Telekom Deutschland is offering customers of its DataComfort tariffs twice the data allowances as at no extra charge. The S, M, L and Premium DataComfort options have increased to 2 GB, 4 GB, 10 GB and 40 GB respectively at the same rates as previously. Telekom increases data volume for 2 prepaid tariffs

Telekom Deutschland has increased the included data volumes for two prepaid tariffs, according to Smartweb.de. The MagentaMobil Start M tariff now includes 1 GB instead of 750 MB and still costs EUR 9.95 per 28 days of use. At the same time, MagentaMobil Start L now offers 1.5 GB instead of 1 GB for the same price of EUR 14.95 for 28 days. The other prepaid tariffs still have the same included data volumes.
