Vodafone Group opens logistics hub in Luxembourg to beef up supply chain capabilities

Vodafone announced that its Luxembourg-based Procure & Connect business has inaugurated a new distribution hub in Bettembourg, which will serve as a central distribution point for equipment needed for the group's mobile and fixed network activities across Europe. The hub has been designed to meet storage needs, and its location will facilitate shipments within 24 hours to all of Vodafone's European markets, thanks to strong transport links.

RTL Group said Christophe Goossens, current chief executive of RTL Luxembourg and Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), has assumed broader duties as Head of Luxembourg Operations. Orange Luxembourg revenues increase 4% in H2, EBITDA dips slightly

Orange Luxembourg returned to revenue growth in the six months to December, reporting a 3.9 percent year-on-year increase to EUR 40.9 million, following a 0.6 percent decline in H1. Mobile service revenues were stable at EUR 20.6 million as the customer base fell to 248,000, compared with 263,000 in June 2025 and 258,000 at the end of 2024. Orange Luxembourg posts 15% EBITDA increase in H1, lifts operating and net profit

Orange Luxembourg has reported improved profitability for the six months to June, despite slightly lower revenues driven by continued weakness at its wholesale business and a decline in equipment sales. EBITDAaL rose 15 percent year-on-year to EUR 8.2 million, while operating profit increased to EUR 1.9 million, up from EUR 1.6 million in H1 2024. The Luxembourg government said that a crisis meeting was held on 23 July following a nationwide telecom network outage at incumbent operator Post that disrupted mobile and fixed services in the late afternoon. The disruption lasted for around four hours, with access to emergency numbers restored by early evening. As part of the incident response, the government stated that alerts issued via the LU-Alert system were delivered to Post customers with a delay due to the outage.

Orange delivered the best fixed internet performance in Luxembourg during the first half of the year, according to the latest benchmark study by internet speed test specialist Ookla.
