Italy business and consumer morale rise again in December

Italy's business confidence rose again in December, while consumer confidence rebounded from the previous month's fall, according to the latest report from national statistics office Istat. Overall business confidence across the manufacturing, retail, construction and services sectors climbed to 96.5 from 96.1 in November, the highest reading since March 2024, led mainly by a surge in market services sentiment from 97.8 to 100.0.

Milan-based data centre services provider DHH International said it has successfully completed an accelerated bookbuilding procedure involving a total of 354,916 shares, of which 324,916 were newly issued, for a total value of EUR 8.16 million. AI use by Italian firms doubles in 2025 but dominated by larger companies - study

Over half (53.1%) of Italian companies with at least 250 employees are now using artificial intelligence tools, up from 32.5 percent in 2024, according to a report from national data agency Istat. However, the proportion plummets to 16.4 percent when taking into account all firms with at least 10 employees, up from 8.2 percent in 2024 and 5.0 percent in 2023.
