Facebook could file for an initial public offering of shares as earlier as this week, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal. The IPO, expected in the second quarter, could raise as much as USD 10 billion and value the company at USD 75-100 billion, the paper's sources said. The social network is close to picking Morgan Stanley to lead the deal. Facebook may file the IPO with the SEC as early as 01 February, or it could wait another few weeks to make the filing, the report said.
