HTC announced the HTC One X+, a refreshed version of its HTC One X smartphone. The phone comes with the HTC Sense 4+ user interface and Android Jelly Bean OS, as well as a 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 64GB internal storage. In addition, the HTC One X+ comes with HTC Get Started, a new web service that guides the user through the set-up and personalisation process from a desktop web browser. The HTC One X+ will be available in Europe and North Asia from October and in South Asia from November. HTC announced a recommended retail price of EUR 675 for the phone in the Netherlands. North America will make a separate announcement regarding availability.
