Motorola files new ITC complaint against Apple

Motorola Mobility unit has filed a new claim with the US International Trade Commission alleging that Apple has infringed seven of its patents. The patents relate to Apple devices including the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, the Wall Street Journal reports. Motorola is seeking a ban on the import of those products made overseas. Motorola said Apple was unwilling to negotiate a licence, promoting the ITC complaint. None of the patents asserted by Motorola in its newest claim is a standards-essential patent.
