Samsung Electronics has signed an agreement with the International Olympic Committee to extend its sponsorship through the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games and Tokyo 2020 Summer Games. Samsung has been an Olympic sponsor in the wireless communication equipment category since 1998. The category has now been expanded to include wireless computing equipment, smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs and desktop printers. The agreement, whose financial details were not disclosed, was signed in Nanjing, China, the host city of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games.
