
Tencent in talks for loan of up to USD 2 bln - report

Chinese internet value added services provider Tencent is in talks for a syndicated load of up to USD 2 billion as it expands operations and pushes ahead with acquisitions, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The provider is looking for a five-year facility of USD 1.5-2 billion. The financing is separate from a five-year loan of USD 2.45 billion worked out with banks last year. Tencent declined to comment.
