Vodafone Germany CEO Friedrich Joussen is at loggerheads with parent company Vodafone Group about the level of mobile network investment, according to a report in 'Focus' news magazine. Joussen cannot invest as much as he wants to in Vodafone Germany's network, affecting its ability to compete effectively. He is understood to be so annoyed at the strategy of Vodafone Group to invest in other markets, that there is growing speculation that he could leave his post. Mobile industry speculation has named Vodafone Netherlands CEO Jens Schulte-Bockum as a possible successor.
