Apple releases upgraded HomePod Mini speakers in 5 colours

Apple has officially launched the upgraded HomePod Mini smart speaker range first announced at its Unleashed event last month, including models in yellow, orange, and blue alongside the traditional white and space grey versions. The new models come with colour-matched details throughout, including the tinted touch surface, mesh fabric, volume icons and woven power cable cost the same price – USD 99 – as their older counterparts.

The new features included on the 3.3-inch devices are stereo pairing for a more immersive experience, automatic audio control on an iPhone or iPad's lock screen, the option of lowering the bass level and the ability to turn on Apple TV and control it with the HomePod.

The new HomePod Minis are now available to order from Apple’s website and authorised resellers in Canada, Mexico, the US, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan. They will be available later this month in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and the UK.
