Facebook to show live Champions League games in Latin America

Facebook will show some Champions League games live on the social network in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America over the next three seasons. The agreement, which runs from this season until 2021, gives Facebook exclusive access to 32 live matches each season, including the Uefa Champions League final and the Uefa Super Cup, the football association announced. Wednesday highlights and special programs will also be shared for each week of matches on the league's Facebook page.

Facebook signs deal to screen La Liga games in Indian sub-continent

Spain's top flight football division La Liga has announced a deal which will see Facebook screen all 2018-19 matches free of charge to its clients in the Indian sub-continent region. As well as serving 270 million Indian customers, the 380 games will be available to customers in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Reuters reported.
