Motorola launches flagship Edge 20 range of mobiles

Lenovo's Motorola brand has announced the launch of a new flagship range of phones called the Edge 20. The most expensive model, the Edge 20 Pro, with a starting price of EUR 699.99, features a periscope-style telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and is capable of shooting 8K video.

The standard Edge 20 model will be priced at EUR 499.99 and like the Pro, it features a 6.7 inch OLED screen with a 144hz referesh rate and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Finally, the budget Edge 20 lite model, priced at EUR 349.99, features the same 6.7-inch OLED display, but with a lower, 90hz referesh rate, and a larger battery than the other variants at 5000 mAh.

Each model in the Edge 20 range features a headphone jack, 108mp main camera sensor. Motorola promises at least two major Android OS upgrades and two years of bi-monthly security updates. The phones are scheduled to go on sale in August in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia but the company did not say if a US launch is planned.
