RIM launches new BlackBerry Bold, Curve smartphones
Research In Motion announced two new Blackberry phones launching with the BlackBerry 7 OS. The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the first in the Curve range with an all-touch display. It features a 3.2-inch screen, 5 megapixel camera and range of social networking apps, as well as BlackBerry Messenger. Also new is the BlackBerry Bold 9790, with both a 2.45-inch touchscreen and a keypad. It comes with a 1GHz processor and 8GB internal memory. It will launch first in Indonesia for IDR 4.599 million, with Teletama Artha Mandiri, Comtech Cellular and Selular Media Infotama from 25 November. Both devices will be available with select carriers around the world in the coming weeks.

RIM exec investigated over BlackBerry stampede

Research In Motion's country head in Indonesia, Andrew Cobham, will not be allowed to leave the country until a police investigation into a stampede at a recent BlackBerry promotion has been completed.
