RIM updates BlackBerry Curve with latest OS
Research In Motion announced three new versions of its BlackBerry Curve smartphone with the new operating system BlackBerry 7. The BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 will launch in Canada this month and from other operators around the world beginning in September. The curved handsets feature a qwerty keypad and optical trackpad for navigation, as well as GPS, Wi-Fi, a 5 megapixel camera and microSD cards up to 32GB. BlackBerry 7 comes with hardware enhancements including upgraded processors, displays and memory, as well as built-in support for NFC, an improved WebKit browser, the new apps BlackBerry Protect and BlackBerry Balance and the latest version of BlackBerry Messaging.
