Elisa AGM passes higher dividend payment for 2025, agrees share purchase and issue authorisations

Finnish and Estonian operator Elisa said shareholders at its AGM have passed a motion to pay a maximum dividend of EUR 2.40 per share based on its 2025 balance sheet, in four instalments, starting from 15 April. This is a rise from EUR 2.35 last year. The authorisation is valid until the 2027 AGM.

Peru telco revenues up 2% to PEN 17.8 bln in 2025

Peru's leading telecom operators reported total revenues of PEN 17.8 billion in 2025 as a whole, up 1.8 percent from a year earlier, according to the latest figures from regulator Osiptel. The result was mainly driven by higher revenues in mobile and fixed internet services, with the watchdog predicting that revenues will continue growing to reach around PEN 19 billion in 2027, by which time the number of mobile and fixed internet lines will have exceeded 22 million and 5 million respectively.

Spain's communications watchdog CNMC has proposed a number of measures to boost the transparency of commercial and customer service calls, including using the new 400 prefix and enabling recipients to return the call at no extra cost. Wallonia digital maturity index shows 94% of households connected to internet

Internet penetration has reached 94 percent of households in the Belgian region of Wallonia and 89 percent of people in the region have smartphones, according to the latest digital maturity barometer by the regional government's digital agency.
