Austrian mobile Sims up 9.2% in Q2, driven by T-Mobile IoT growth

The number of mobile Sims at Austrian operators increased by 9.2 percent year-on-year to 15.3 million at the end of June 2018. The growth was led by T-Mobile Austria, which grew by 29.2 percent or almost 1.5 million Sims after becoming the international hub for M2M/IoT Sims of the Deutsche Telekom Group. Over the same period, A1 Austria and 3 Austria saw their customer bases decrease year-on-year, according to Telecompaper's latest Austrian mobile operators' report.
