Weekly news summary: mmWave innovations, advertising at Bouygues and AT&T, Spark strategy update, another telco goes private

This week's news shows mmWave starting to gain traction in the 5G market, along with steady progress in fibre, with more money in France and Sweden and a jump to 2 Gbps at Google Fiber. Operators such as Bouygues and AT&T are turning to more advertising as a source of revenue, while the big internet players are adding to their hardware portfolios. AT&T, Comcast and Spark also issued strategy updates, and Sweden's A3 is the latest telco to be taken private.
