Mobile Vikings revenue rises 20% to EUR 111 million in 2025

Belgian provider Mobile Vikings saw its revenue increase by 20.4 percent to EUR 111 million in 2025, driven by strong performance in fixed internet and mobile, according to its recently filed annual report published in Belgium's official gazette.  Operating profit fell 2.1 percent to EUR 6.8 million as customer growth pushed up costs, while net profit was down 9.2 percent to EUR 5.6 million due to higher taxes and interest payments. France closed March with 2 million SIMs active in 2G-only devices, down from 2.4 million at the end of 2025, according to telecom authority Arcep. The finding is part of the regulator's quarterly update on the migration away from the early generations of mobile networks. SIMs in 2G-only devices accounted for 1.5 percent of the total active base supporting voice, messaging and data services, while representing 3 percent of the M2M installed base.
