Nortel Networks reported results for the third quarter and the first nine months of 2002. Revenues from continuing operations were US$2.36 billion (EUR 2.42 billion) for the third quarter of 2002 compared to US$3.69 billion in the same period in 2001. Nortel Networks reported a net loss in the third quarter of 2002 of US$1.80 billion, compared to a net loss of US$3.47 billion in the third quarter of 2001. Pro forma net loss from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2002 was US$420 million, compared to pro forma net loss from continuing operations of US$2.18 billion in the third quarter of 2001.
