A1 ends Q1 with 1.33 million fixed broadband lines

Telekom Austria Group's Austrian business (A1) generated revenue of EUR 680 million for Q1 2013, down 3.7 percent from EUR 706.3 million a earlier. EBITDA (comparable) was EUR 206.8 million, down 15.3 percent from EUR 244.1 million, with EBIT down 28.8 percent to EUR 76.1 million, from EUR 106.8 million. In the fixed-line segment, average revenue per line (ARPL) was EUR 32.20 in Q1, up 1.2 percent from EUR 31.90 a year earlier. The total number of fixed access lines reached 2.28 million, down 1.7 percent from 2.32 million, with fixed broadband lines reaching 1.33 million, up 3.9 percent from
