Russian wireless internet service provider Enforta has chosen Airspan's MicroMAX base stations and related CPE to deploy WiMAX services in Russia. Enforta provides home offices and businesses with telecommunication services including high-speed internet, local and national telephony, email, website hosting and VPN services for secure communication to branch offices. Enforta will use Airspan's WiMAX products to offer internet access and virtual area network services to its customers. MicroMAX is a family of micro-cell base stations, coming with outdoor packaging of RF and base-band components. Variants for high density roof-top deployments and low density and rural deployments are also available.
