Airtel renews managed services deal with NSN
Indian mobile operator Bharti airtel has selected Nokia Siemens Networks as its managed services partner in eight circles of the country including Bihar and Jharkhand, Kolkata, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Mumbai, Orissa and West Bengal. Under this five-year managed services contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will manage and maintain Airtel's 3G and GSM networks and iWAN. These services specifically support Nokia Siemens Networks' installed base of mobile broadband equipment for the operator. Using its global service delivery model, Nokia Siemens Networks will also provide network optimisation, operations and maintenance services remotely from its Global Network Solutions Center (GNSC) in Noida, India.

Airtel to renew managed services contract with NSN - report

Indian mobile operator Bharti Airtel will renew by the end of this month its contract with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to manage and maintain its networks in eight circles for three years. The managed services contract value is worth just over USD 300 million, reports The Economic Times.
