Alcatel presents A3 XL 6-inch phablet at CES
Alcatel unveiled a new phablet at CES that has a 6-inch screen, fingerprint recognition and LTE Category 4 connectivity. Named Alcatel A3 XL, the gadget is the first in the company's 'A' series of "affordable" mobile devices. Alcatel A3 XL will be rolled-out in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America during the first quarter of 2017, before moving on to Europe in the second quarter. It'll be priced at around USD 200 and its main competitor is Huawei's Honor 6X which was also unveiled at CES.

Powered by Android 7.0 Nougat, it features 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 8GB internal storage with 1GB ROM, up to 32GB external storage, 3,000mAh battery and also comes with dual-flash 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera along with a range apps. The phablet comes in a range of colors and 3D patterns.
