
Amazon CFO to retire after 12 years

Amazon.com announced that its CFO Thomas Szkutak plans to retire from the company in June 2015, after 12 years managing the online retailer's finances. Brian Olsavsky, VP of Finance for the company's global consumer business, will succeed Szkutak as chief financial officer. Olsavsky, age 51, joined Amazon in April 2002 as VP of Finance and has held numerous financial leadership roles across Amazon with global responsibility.
