The new Kindle Fire HD features an HD display with 1280x800 resolution and 216 inches per pixel, a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio, a new slim design, built-in dual-band Wi-Fi, and the new Fire OS 3.0 "Mojito". The new Kindle Fire HD also comes equipped with Kindle FreeTime, X-Ray for Music, Prime Instant Video downloads, Second Screen, expanded X-Ray for Movies and TV, and a new email, calendar and Silk web browser. The new Kindle Fire HD will begin shipping on 2 October.
