AMC channel to launch on BT TV in September
BT Group and AMC Networks International have signed an agreement to make the AMC channel available exclusively to BT customers in the UK from September. The multi-year agreement with BT will mark the UK launch for the cable channel, known for premium drama series such as Breaking Bad and Mad Men. It will launch with the exclusive UK TV premiere of the drama 'Fear the Walking Dead' on BT TV.

BT's managing director for TV and sport, Delia Bushell, has defended plans to charge customers an extra GBP 5 a month on top of their broadband subscription for the new BT Sport Europe channel. BT Sport unveils new TV deals for pubs, clubs, hotels

BT Sport has announced a new deal for pubs, clubs and commercial premises to show up to 223 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches exclusively live on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. These will be available through the BT Sport Total Pack which will include a channel line-up of BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, ESPN on BT Sport and BT Sport Europe. BT has announced that all 351 matches from the UEFA Champions League and Europa League next season will be free for customers taking BT TV. BT renews BBC World Service TV contract with Intelsat

BT has renewed and expanded its contract with Intelsat covering the Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America. The multi-year agreement will see BT use capacity from three of Intelsat's satellite neighbourhoods to distribute programming for news channel BBC World Service. BT TV signs deal with HBO for buy-to-keep box sets

BT TV has signed a new agreement with HBO Home Entertainment allowing its customers to buy-to-keep box sets of premium programmes including Game of Thrones, Entourage and True Detectives from 22 May.
