America Movil's Caribbean unit revenues up 5.0% in Q2

America Movil's Caribbean unit saw its total revenues increase 5.0 percent in Q2. In the Dominican Republic with service revenue growth of 4.8 percent. Mobile service revenues were up 6.9 percent supported by strong prepaid revenues that have increased on the back of data services. Fixed-line service revenues grew 2.4 percent with broadband and PayTV revenues rising 12.8 percent and 11.3 percent, respectively, whereas fixed voice revenues came down 8.2 percent following a contraction of long distance revenues of 27.5 percent.
