Apple confirms iCloud launch for developers conference
Apple announced the planned product unveilings for its Worldwide Developers Conference next week. CEO Steve Jobs, currently on medical leave, will give the keynote address on 6 June. He will unveil the latest version of Mac OS X, called Lion, as well as iOS 5, the newest version of the mobile OS for the iPhone and iPad. In addition, the company will take the wraps off iCloud, a cloud services offering which is expected to offer a new way for iTunes users to access and save digital music and video online. WWDC also will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers.
