AT&T adds data to Mobile Share Value plans
AT&T introduced new Mobile Share Value plans offering more for customers from 15 August, including 15 GB for the price of 10 GB. In addition, customers on a new 15 GB plan or higher will receive unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada on the USD 100 and USD 140 a month plans. The entry-level bundle costs USD 25 a month for 300 MB of data, followed by the USD 30 tier with 2 GB and the USD 50 tier with 5 GB. The USD 100 and USD 140 plans come with 15 GB and 20 GB of data, respectively. Plans scale up to 200 GB a month. AT&T Mobile Share Value plans include rollover data and an extra USD 15 a month savings when combined with an AT&T Next phone upgrade plan.

AT&T has begun the process of rebranding its services in Mexico, where it has acquired Nextel Mexico and Iusacell for a combined total of USD 4.4 billion. AT&T adds free data roaming in Mexico to GoPhone plan

AT&T is adding free data roaming in Mexico and Canada for some of its prepaid customers. Starting 21 August, customers on the USD 60 GoPhone plan can use their 4 GB of monthly data also when roaming in Mexico and Canada. The plan already comes with unlimited calls and texts from the US to Mexico and Canada (landline and mobile numbers). Telcel extends free roaming in the US to prepaid customers

Mexican operator Telcell has removed roaming charges on calls and data in the US for around 40 million of its prepaid customers. Calls in the US by customers of the Amigo Optimo and Optimo Plus plans will now be charged according to local rates. The same applies when using mobile data in the US. In addition they will no longer pay long-distance fees for calls from Mexico to the US. Telcel earlier launched 'roam like home' rates on certain postpaid plans under its 'Telcel Sin Frontera' offer.
