AT&T halves Nokia Lumia 900 price
AT&T has halved the price of the Nokia Lumia 900, now offering the Windows smartphone for USD 49.99. Nokia's first Lumia device launched in the US was started at USD 99 with AT&T earlier this year. Customers must take a two-year voice contract starting at USD 39.99 per month as well as data service to get the reduced price.

AT&T grows Q2 profit 10%, revenues stable

AT&T reported second-quarter earnings of USD 0.66 per share, up 10 percent from a year earlier. Revenues were up just 0.3 percent to USD 31.6 billion, as the sale of its advertising business offset continued growth in mobile services. Nokia losses widen, sees no improvement in Q3

Nokia's losses continued to grow in the second quarter, and the handset maker expects a similar picture in Q3 as it works to regain market share in the important smartphone segment. Nokia zegt ook dat de uiteindelijke prijs van een toestel vaak ook afhankelijk is van de subsidie vanuit de operators. AT&T will launch an update to the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone. Nokia Lumia users will begin to see software updates for Windows Phone 7.5. AT&T to offer Nokia LTE smartphone for USD 100

AT&T will launch the Nokia Lumia 900 on 08 April for USD 100. Announced earlier this year at the CES trade show, the Lumia 900 is based on Windows Phone 7.5 and runs on AT&T's LTE network.
