AT&T to acquire 49 AWS spectrum licenses from Aloha Partners
AT&T has announced it has agreed to acquire 49 Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) spectrum licenses from Aloha Partners II. The licenses cover nearly 50 million people in fourteen states, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. The acquisition complements AT&T's existing AWS holdings. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. AT&T expects the transaction to close in the second half of 2014. Financial terms were not disclosed.
