AT&T acquires all of Otter Media

AT&T has acquired the rest of Otter Media from the Chernin Group, expanding its content assets. The company includes Ellation, an online subscription video service provider, with offerings under the Crunchyroll and VRV brands, as well as the digital media company Fullscreen and its Rooster Teeth brand. Otter also has stakes in content studio Gunpowder & Sky, as well as Hello Sunshine, a media company founded by Reese Witherspoon. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed.
