AT&T, MCMC to organise hackaton for IoT apps

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and AT&T will host the fifth Malaysia Developers' Day in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The event will this year invite participants to create IoT apps, with an emphasis on data analytics. It will take place at the MCMC headquarters on 11-12 August. Students and other future developers looking to build new skills can attend a Coding 101 workshop on 10 August. Participants will be able to access tools from AT&T and MCMC that are needed to create new apps. Winners will receive cash prizes worth a total of USD 15,000 and Nanodegree scholarships.
