AT&T Mexico partners with Nissan for in-car Wi-Fi

Friday 19 March 2021 | 11:36 CET | News
AT&T Mexico said it has partnered with Nissan to offer in-car Wi-Fi services to customers of certain models. The operator's AT&T Connected Auto service brings Wi-Fi connectivity to vehicles via a hotspot that serves to power the Japanese carmaker's own NissanConnect service. The latter includes an SOS button that drivers can use in case of an emergency as well as an Alarm Notification function that sends alerts in real time to the owner's smartphone when the vehicle's alarm is activated. NissanConnect also offers a range of vehicle monitoring and diagnostic tools.
