AT&T puts focus on personal advertising with new Xandr ad, analytics unit

AT&T has launched a new advertising company it says will focus on a "consumer centric" experience and leverage AT&T's data, premium content, advertising technology and reach to over 170 million direct-to-consumer relationships across mobile, video and broadband. The new company, announced at the Relevance Conference in Santa Barbara in California will be called Xandr, inspired by founder Alexander Graham Bell, and have Brian Lesser at its head. Lesser is the CEO for AT&T's ad and analytics business.
