AT&T to soon launch skinny streaming service called Watch

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said the company is planning to soon launch a new streaming service called AT&T Watch, set to provide a low-cost bundle of channels and aimed at encouraging mobile viewing, CNN reported. The CEO made the statement while testifying in an antitrust trial. Stephenson was there to defend the bid AT&T for Time Warner, parent of CNN. The government believes the deal will harm consumers; Stephenson believes the opposite and cited "Watch" as an example.
