Aurelius sells Getronics for EUR 220 mln
Aurelius Equity has agreed to sell ICT services provider Getronics to Bottega InvestCo for EUR 220 million. Bottega is backed by US-Brazilian investor Nana Baffour, who also controls the Brazil IT services provider Grupo Cimcorp, and the financial partners White Oak Global Advisers, Permira PDM and HYG WhiteHorse. 

Aurelius acquired Getronics from KPN in 2012 and has since streamlined the company's portfolio and expanded its Global Workspace Alliance. A number of acquisitions also helped expand its geographic footprint around the world.

Getronics said it has parted ways with CEO Nana Baffour, appointed in August 2017, and that it will be recapitalising the company after agreeing with investors on a new injection of cash. Getronics gets new CEO from parent Bottega

Getronics has named Nana Baffour its new chairman and CEO. Baffour is the majority shareholder of Bottega InvestCo, which recently bought Getronics for USD 220 million. Baffour is now looking to double the company's size in order to reach revenues EUR 1 billion, through a focus on relationships with customers and partners and its innovative business transformation systems and services.

Aurelius buys rest of Getronics from KPN

Germany's Aurelius Group has acquired the remaining 22 percent in ICT services provider Getronics from KPN. No financial details were disclosed. Aurelius acquired a majority stake in Getronics International in 2012. KPN will hold on to the Dutch activities of Getronics, including its Global Service Center in Beek/Maastricht and Newtel Belgium, which form part of its Corporate Market division.

Aurelius has invested EUR 10 million into the cloud offering of its new Getronics Europe unit. KPN sold Getronics Europe and Asia-Pacific (APAC) earlier this year to Aurelius, a German listed industrial holding company. Aurelius invested the money to help improve services. KPN completes sales of Getronics International

KPN has completed its acquisition of Getronics International. The deal, which took place in two separate transactions, was announced on 24 January. Financial details were not disclosed. Getronics Europe and Asia-Pacific (APAC) were sold to Aurelius, a German publicly listed industrial holding company.
