Australian homes spend 1.1% of household income on NBN services

Australia's average weekly household spend on services over the NBN network is 1.1 percent of household income, compared with water (1.3 percent) and electricity (1.6 percent), according to research from Accenture, commissioned by NBN Co. Of customers surveyed, more than 85 percent reported no concerns with the affordability of their NBN service, with the research indicating that Australians were more inclined to be concerned about the relative cost of other household essentials.
