Tele2 Norge will see BaneTele take over its LAN-to-Internet and LAN-to-LAN customers. Tele2 is unhappy with the margins on the services. Tele2 says the services represented only a small part of the firm's turnover. Tele2 said that it found that to maintain competitive prices and quality for its LAN services would have required major new investment and this would not have paid for itself. Tele2 will continue to offer Internet services but only via dial-up and ADSL lines.
