According to the director of Belcompany, Ginus Tiemessen, the company is about to sign an agreement with premium retail store Bijenkorf to start a pilot with in-store shops. Belcompany will start with an in-store shop in Bijenkorf Amsterdam, followed by stores of Bijenkorf in Rotterdan and Den Haag. Depending on the results of the pilot, more shops will follow. The Dutch communication retail chain Belcompany is to increase its number of shop in the Netherlands to 140 before the end of this year. In Belgium the company expects to expand the number to 40 shops. At the end of 2004, Belcompany had 125 shops in the Netherlands and 29 in Belgium.
