Belgacom launches TV Replay service
Belgacom announced the commercial launch of its TV Replay service, which started in a limited trial last November. Belgacom customers in Flanders and Brussels can watch programmes up to 36 hours after their original broadcast, on-demand on their computers, TVs, smartphones and tablets. The basic service costs EUR 3 per month, while the Replay+ service which allows users to also fast forward during the catch-up viewing costs EUR 7. 

The TV Replay offer initially includes the channels Een, Een HD, Canvas, Canvas HD, Ketnet/OP12, Vier, Vier HD, Belgacom 11, Belgacom 11+ and Belgacom 5. From 15 April, the operator will add Vijf, Vijf HD, VTM, VTM HD, 2BE, 2BE HD, Vitaya, JIM, Anne and VtmKzoom. Belgacom said more channels will be added in the coming period. Customers who sign up for the service by 15 April will receive the first two months free.

Belgacom launches subscription VoD service

Belgacom announced the launch of the Movies & Series Pass, its own subscription video-on-demand service for EUR 14.95 per month. The service is available to Belgacom IPTV customers, with the first month offered free. Belgacom Q4: mobile markt to stabilise, dividend lower, 4G acelerates

Belgacom recently reported results for 2013 and the fourth quarter, also presenting its outlook for 2014 and investment plans for the coming year. These will result in a significant reduction in its dividend, but are expected to restore growth at the Belgian operator from 2016. The company also announced that it's adopting its mobile brand Proximus for all its activities. Belgacom will remain the corporate name.

Belgacom reported fourth-quarter revenues down 3.8 percent from a year earlier to EUR 1.582 billion. EBITDA fell 6.3 percent to EUR 398 million, while net profit came in at EUR 148 million, Over the full year, revenues fell 2.2 percent and EBITDA was down 4.9 percent, hurt by regulatory price cuts and competitive pressures. Belgacom expands TV Replay service

Belgacom is adding the RTL and AB channels to its TV Replay service. Customers will be able to watch on-demand programming from the channels RTL TVI, Club RTL, Plug RTL, AB3 and AB4, for up to 36 hours after their first broadcast.
